Sapele pommele – block mottled makore – fiddle back anigre – African ribbon grain mahogany.  When one of the most important decisions to make while designing custom furniture is selecting the wood species, why limit your choice of wood species to the more familiar wood types such as oak or walnut?  With the proper wood species and cut, even a simple furniture design can achieve a dramatic impact. 

At KP Manufacturers, we are constantly working with a large variety of wood species ranging from the common to the exotic.  Our skilled craftsmen are very knowledgeable when comes to dealing with this range of wood species.  This allows us the ability to offer informed advice on which wood may suit a particular application or veneer pattern.

The following drawings represent a few of the possible veneer patterns that are available.

If the above patterns do not provide enough flair on their own then inlays, parquetry, and even marquetry can be applied to accent the furniture.
